A Pilot Study of the English Pronunciation Errors of Chinese L2 Learners
摘要:This paper aims at finding out the English pr onunciation errors of Chinese L2 le arners using the material The North Wind and the Sun accompanied by the factors causing these errors.It also tries to put forward some strategies and teaching activities to improve the pronunciation of Chinese learners.This paper is just a pilot study and the large-scale study should be conducted in order to better the pronunciation teaching and learning.基于OBE(成果导向)的高校大学英语教育教学质量评价体系构建研究

摘要:There is an imbalance between the various types of music in Chinese music c lasses.This phenomenon is not only related to the school’s music textbooks,but also related to educators.China has a wealth of ethnic minorities.However,the proportion of music textbooks is more patriotic songs,as well as typical Western music.There is only a few folk music and pop music is basically impossible to appear in textbooks in primary and secondary schools.Educators play a vital role in the dissemination of diverse cultures.They engage in music activities both inside and outside the classroom according to students’needs and preferences.Such multi-ethnic music culture education helps students deepen their understanding of other music cultures and improve them national identity.By eliminating prejudice against popular music,the pace of music education and music trends is kept consistent,and students’enthusiasm for learning music is improved,and a variety of music cultures are developed together.Teaching English as an International Language in Chinese Context

摘要:本文使用半结构化访谈以及调查问卷等研究工具,针对天津外国语大学滨海外事学院大学二年级经济系两个班级的听力课情况,对采取多模态听力课和未采取多模态听力课的学生学习情况进行对比分析研究。调研结果显示,采取多模态方式的班级,学生普遍提高了英语听力课的积极性,也改善了视听说的学习习惯,掌握了基本技能;而未进行多模态方式学习的班级,对待英语听力课态度较为消极。上课配合程度较低。研究表明,多模态教学方式能够帮助学生改变之前对于英语学科的抵触情绪和消极态度,领悟学习方法。该研究的目的在于通过分析多模态教学方式,培养学生视听说课程的自主学习能力以及提升课堂活跃程度,促进英语听力课堂生态趋于健康发展。Reflections on the theoretical basis and teaching practice of TPR teaching method

摘要:The gender-linked language effect has aroused researchers’attention for more than 30 years.This study tried to investigate gender differences in the codes Chinese EFL learners employ for expressing gratitude.30 participants(15 male and 15 female)were selected from the freshmen at one university in Beijing.They were asked to complete a writing task about expressing gratitude based on the general process model for the gender-linked language effect proposed by Anthony Mulac(2012).The findings suggested that female Chinese EFL participants use gratitude codes more than the males.Translation of Vague Language in CLPRC

摘要:1.Introduction With the rapid development of China and the globalization,tourism is gradually becoming a crucial part in people's life.Ningxia,the origin of Xixia Empire,is attracting a great number of foreign tourists.China West Film Studio,which was founded by the Chinese famous writer Zhang Xianliang,is the first choice for foreign tourists when visiting Ningxia.As a result,the translation in China West Film Studio plays an important role and special attention should be paid.China West Film Studio,which is located at the easternfoot of Helan Mountain,can be considered as a collection of traditional Chinese material culture as well as non-material culture,because there are more than 200 scenes of various films here,which reappear the lifestyle,custom,entertainment and culture in ancient China.Hence,it is crucially significant to study the cultural elements in the translation in China West Film Studio.《骆驼祥子》两个英译本中报道动词的显化翻译——从译者风格视角分析
摘要:本研究基于《骆驼祥子》同源多译语料库,考察两位译者在报道动词显化翻译中展现出的译者风格差异。通过对比源文本和两个译本中报道动词的频次、种类、高频报道动词、显性报道动词与隐性报道动词,研究发现两个译本虽然均呈现显化趋势,但二者在显化程度和显化方式上不尽相同:葛译本显化程度更高,在显化方式上注重复合词和“say”的使用,并且隐性词转换明显;施译本更遵从源文的表达,显化方式上偏好单语类词,隐性词的使用上更接近源文。顺应论视角下旅游外宣文本的英译——以《人间天堂——杭州》为例

摘要:“The Black Cat”is one of Edgar Allen Poe’s famous short stories about the psychology of guilt and madness.Previous study mainly focuses on the madness,self-hatred and self-destructiveness in the story.While the relation between id and superego is rarely researched.This paper concentrates on the analysis of the war between id and superego in“The Black Cat”.The study finds out that the war between the id and the super-ego is evident throughout the whole story and in the story there are three battles between id and superego.Techniques of Defamiliarization in Atonement——Studies of Narrative Structure and Language Strategy

工作人员审稿速度还挺快的!编辑部老师都很耐心负责,审稿专家意见也相当给力,审稿流程比较规范的。内容创新,语言丰富,还是比较容易中的期刊。
一次很坎坷的投稿历程,由于本人很粗心,文章中总是在细节上出现问题,编辑老师耐心的帮我反复审阅。在多次讨论修改下,终于被期刊收录。审稿速度相当快,着急毕业的朋友可以投一下。
投了一篇,只是修改了几处地方,然后直接录用。不过这篇自我感觉写的挺好,之前投了两个期刊被一些莫名其妙的原因拒稿了,值得一提的是,校园英语床杂志的编辑老师态度真的是很好,让我觉得如沐春风~~。另外自己还有点额外的要求人家也同意了,真的很感谢。
个人这篇文章投稿时运气不错,第一个外审8天后就返回意见;半个月后联系编辑给催审,几天后另外一个外审意见也很快返回。从投稿到最后录用不到1个月时间。就是见刊要等得比较久一点!
审稿速度很快,录用后大概3个月见刊,而且有什么问题可以直接电话,编辑部态度很好,不像某期刊电话从没打通过。校园英语除了版面费贵了点,其他都很好,祝越办越好。
3月15投的,27号初审通过,4月10号外审,17号第一个外审回来,退稿 稿子意见是,没有创新20号第二个外审回来,直接就退稿了。审稿速度没上面说的那么慢。另外,我写的也很垃圾,退得速度也很快!
系统状态为修改后发表,但是每次修改后总能隔几天再让修改,来回修改了四次,最后毅然决然的拒绝了编辑,不再修改直接撤稿改投别的期刊。总体来说期刊水平还是可以的,但是审稿人水平不怎么样,个人觉得是个外行。
虽说从投稿到接受录用历经的时间较长,还修改过3次,不过最终录用了,已经刊出来了,也算不错。个人觉得总体来说审稿还是比较快的,一般不会超过一个月就会返回来的,审稿比较仔细,要求是比较严格,建议文章要有深度新意。
