摘要:The Dayangdui site at Jingjiu in Xichang excavated in 1994 can be divided into three phases. The early cultural remains include mainly nine long narrow and rectangular earthen-pit tombs, and go back to the early Western Zhou period. The middle phase vestiges are principally 24 object pits related to sacrifice and 19 loess pits, and roughly belong to the Spring-Autumn period. The late phase embraces two huge-stone tombs and two ash-pits. The early burials represent the inceptive type of such tombs and date from the turn from the Spring-Autumn to the Warring States period. The excavation of the site provided important evidence for studying the migration of the ancient Qiang people and the cultural aspect of the "Qiongdu-yi" tribes.
